Klagenfurt man (54) died after falling on a bicycle

A 54-year-old from Klagenfurt died on Sunday, Christmas Eve, after falling on his bicycle. A 29-year-old found the victim and immediately called the emergency number. The 54-year-old was first successfully resuscitated by the emergency services and then taken to the Klagenfurt Clinic. However, he died there, according to the Carinthia State Police Directorate.

The 29-year-old from Klagenfurt was walking along the homecoming path at around 8:10 a.m. on Christmas Eve and discovered an injured man lying motionless on the ground near the exit of a residential complex there. He apparently fell on his bike. Despite resuscitation, the victim later died in the hospital.
