The national soccer team led by Coach Klinsmann has begun its first training to fulfill its long-cherished wish of winning the Asian Cup for the first time in 64 years.
Today (26th), the national soccer team convened 15 players, including domestic players who completed their K-League schedule and overseas players who completed the first half of their schedule, to a hotel in downtown Seoul and conducted their first training.
The Football Association explained that in this convocation training, conditioning will be focused on physical strength training indoors without outdoor training.
After announcing the final list of 26 players for the Asian Cup the day after tomorrow (28th), Coach Klinsmann plans to leave for Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates with the national team players on the 2nd of next month to conduct local adaptation training.
Key European players such as Son Heung-min, Kim Min-jae, Lee Kang-in, and Hwang Hee-chan are expected to join Klinsmann in Abu Dhabi.
