[Sing Tao Daily Report]KMB stated that starting from Saturday (October 1), Kowloon Mosque will add a “KMB Discount Station”. Passengers can go to the discount station to take an Octopus card and use the method of “shoot first and then ride” to enjoy $1 ride discount. The newly added “KMB concession stand” is located at the underground entrance. Any passenger entering the mosque can tap a card to receive the concession. Passengers must abide by and respect the venue regulations.
Adult or student Octopus card holders can enjoy a discount of $1 by taking the “take first, then ride” method, that is, first take the card at the discount station of the Kowloon Mosque, and then take the KMB route. The card tap and the KMB ride must be done within the same working day (calculation time is from 4:45 am every day to 4:44:59 am the next day), and is applicable to all KMB routes (K12, K14, K17) and K18 line except).

Li Kanling, manager of KMB’s Planning and Development Group, pointed out that KMB has actively cooperated with different stakeholders to install “discount booths” in places with high traffic flow. Following the earlier set up of discount booths in 22 college campuses, shopping malls and housing estates , this time a concession stand was set up at the Kowloon Mosque to encourage citizens to use public transport.
