In Altona, from Monday (10 a.m.), a man will stand in front of the district court who is said to have threatened his roommate with the words “You are a Christian, I will kill you!” He then allegedly tried to injure the roommate with a knife. A neighbor intervened.
The incident occurred in a support and living accommodation on Notkestrasse in Bahrenfeld. According to the accusation, after the 32-year-old made the threat, his roommate initially went to sleep unsuspecting. Meanwhile, the suspect got a kitchen knife and approached the sleeping man’s face with it.

He, in turn, woke up in time to hold the defendant by the wrist. A neighbor in the accommodation who noticed the situation pulled the uninjured victim out of the room. The 32-year-old is charged with attempted grievous bodily harm. (price)
