The KNMI has declared a code yellow for storm Louis, which will pass over Groningen on Thursday evening and night.
During the day the wind will blow harder and towards the evening it will rain from the southwest. Strong gusts of wind are possible from around eight o’clock; in the Wadden area at regarding 100 to 110 kilometers per hour. Traffic and outdoor activities may be affected by this.
Code yellow applies until 3 a.m. at night. The KNMI recommends securing loose objects outside or placing them indoors. After 3 a.m. the howling Louis diminishes in strength.
