The Ministry of Justice defined the procedures for registering real estate in the real estate registry in several steps:
1- Go to the real estate registry within which the real estate subject of registration is held.
2- Submit the application on the form prepared for this, attach the required documents, pay the administrative fees and expenses, and receive a receipt with an incoming number.
3- Within 24 hours, you will receive a message on the phone registered with the Tax Office stating the following:
– Entry of the application in the priority book, in case the application satisfies the required documents.
Failure to register the application in case the required documents are not completed.
– Postponing the examination of the application if it is found that there was a previous application for it until the final decision in the application that precedes it, and the duration of the application search is calculated from the date of the final dismissal in the one preceding it.
4- In cases, the Tax Office publishes, within 5 days from the date of submitting the application, at the expense of the student, in one of the daily newspapers, an advertisement for the registration of the property and its data.
– Al-Ahram newspaper, “Giza, Fayoum, Beni Suef, Minya, Assiut, Sohag, Qena, Luxor and Aswan.”
– Al-Akhbar newspaper, “Cairo, Qalyubia, Menoufia, Dakahlia, Damietta, North and South Sinai, the Red Sea and Sharqia.”
– Al-Gomhouria newspaper “Alexandria, Gharbia, Beheira, Kafr El-Sheikh, Marsa Matrouh, Suez, Ismailia, Port Said and New Valley”.
5- An objection may be made to the Tax Office within 10 days from the date of publication.
6- The Tax Office conducts an inspection to verify the seizure of possession or to investigate the fact of property acquisition, as the case may be.
7- The Tax Office expresses its opinion on the request and then submits it to the office within a period not exceeding 23 days from the date of its submission.
8- Presenting the application, its attachments, and the objections submitted to it to a specialized committee that issues a decision with reasons for acceptance or rejection.
