KO Danninger ad Vice Chancellor Kogler: "Prepotency of the moral aristocracy"

St. Pölten (OTS) – Club chairman Jochen Danninger states the following about today’s statements by Vice Chancellor Werner Kogler in the news magazine “Profil”:
“For us, normal thinkers are the middle of society. The people of the middle do not peck at the streets and block emergency vehicles or people who want to drive to work. They are considerate of one another and want to create a life worth living for themselves and their families through work. During the pandemic, they followed the recommendations of the scientists and not conspiracy theories. What’s supposed to be ‘pre-Fascist’ about that? In Lower Austria we certainly don’t let Mr. Kogler teach us a lesson in his moral superiority. For far too long, the Greens have indulged in their unrealistic notions of political correctness, where you can’t eat a ‘Moor in your shirt’, every sentence has to be made illegible with gender asterisks, and children are no longer allowed to dress up as Indians. They dictate their upbringing to mainstream society. This arrogant opinion dictate of the morally sublime becomes unbearable. The moral high nobility of the Greens shows once again that they have no idea of the real concerns of the silent majority of people in this country. From the Viennese city center coffee houses you see the world with completely different eyes than, for example, in the Marchfeld, where you can’t take the cargo bike to work. The broad middle of society often goes unheard by the loud cries of the political fringes. We want to give them a voice and, for example, take a clear stand against the unilateral construction freeze on the S1, S8 and Lobau tunnel road construction projects, clearly against new property taxes and clearly against the release of drugs such as cannabis.”
