Kohli says no to record; Tendulkar was overtaken on the foreign pitch

Paul (South Africa): India’s Virat Kohli set a new record in the first ODI against South Africa. Kohli holds the record for most ODI runs scored by an Indian overseas. The record was set by cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar.

Kohli set a new record of 11 runs in the first ODI against South Africa. Kohli has scored 5070 runs in 108 matches so far. Tendulkar has scored 5065 runs in 147 matches. MS Dhoni is third with 4520 runs from 145 matches.

Kohli is also the third highest run scorer abroad. Kumar Sangakkara (5518 runs from 149 matches) and Ricky Ponting (5090 runs from 132 matches) are ahead of Kohli.
