Korean Bayonetta changes name to Stellar Blade, new

It’s been a year since we had heard from Project EVE, this beat’em all developed by a South Korean studio resembling Bayonetta. We had to wait for the State of Play on September 14, 2022 to see the game come back in a different light. Indeed, the title has been changed and we must now speak of Stellar Blade, a combination of two words: “Stellar” which means stars in Latin, and “Blade”, which defines the existence of Eve. It is also an opportunity for the studio Shift Up to tell us more about the plot and the context of this post-apo world where the rest of Humanity lives in the city of Xion. Our heroine Eve will meet a certain Adam who needs her to revive life on this extinct Earth (well, well…) and bring down the NA:tives, these creatures at the origin of the extinction of humans. We are therefore entitled to new combat sequences with filthy creatures, allowing us to see that our Eve is as comfortable with her ultra-sharp blade as with high-caliber firearms. Dodging also seems to be at the heart of the gameplay to dominate the clashes. It remains to be seen whether she will also be able to summon powers to fight the larger bosses…

The release of Stellar Blade is expected for 2023 on PS5, Xbox Series and PC.
