The accused did not deny the sexual intercourse, however he denied the accusation that he molested her. Kostas Kostopoulos taking the floor, after the reading of the indictment against him, stated innocent. He has already claimed from the pre-trial that he had sexual intercourse with the complainant but with her consent, he did not abuse her, he did not use violence against her.
However complainant vividly and in detail described her sexual abuse by the well-known TV director, in his car14 years ago in June 2010. He was intoxicatedaccording to her complaint.
In courtroom, from early morning there were many well-known actors in order to testify about the case, either for the accused or for the complainant. Characteristically, they attended Markella Giannatou and Katerina Didaskalou which are expected to testify against the director. THE Maria Tzobanaki is included among the witnesses of hers.
For his part, the accused has requested to be summoned to testify as defense witnesses Kostas Arzoglou, Melpo Kosti and other famous actors.
Kostas Kostopoulos: What the actress testified
“Shortly after our name day, the director told me to have dinner and then go to “Akrotiri” to find our common company. I went because he had won my trust and I thought he might have made me a professional offer,” the actress initially said.

“Because of the violence of the act I woke up. I spontaneously started screaming and kicking, scared, crying. He did not stop and continued. At one point he had to stand on top of me, because I was too intense,” added the actress.

I told her I had a little too much to drink and let’s go.” Then, as she said, she decided to take all this to her “grave” and not report it. According to the witness, although she could not say for sure, it is possible that the accused put something in her drink in order to overcome any resistance she had.

Witness: No I was not.

Witness: No I didn’t click, but I was in a safe box. There were lights, it was a place where there were people, there was traffic.
Prosecutor: You said before that you would take this story to your grave, what has changed?
Witness: It is too difficult. These should be reported, I have been through a lot of darkness.
