This situation began through a statement issued via email to platform users. In this sense, the website stated that it would cancel the group in which the person participates because of “relevant commercial issues at this time”, but no specific justification was given in the message.
Another important detail is that there will be no harm to service subscribers. The company itself said that the group will effectively close when the next payment cycle is complete. Even so, the scenario caused several users to become outraged and speak out through Reclame Aqui.
For those who don’t know the service, Kotas is a platform that brings users together in groups to share the monthly subscription fee for different streaming apps. In this sense, it is possible to save on the amount spent on platforms such as Disney+, Globoplay, Crunchyroll and more. The company says it can achieve a reduction of up to 80% with this initiative.

Prado then said that there is no restriction on this movement and people can withdraw or use the balance as much as they want.
