“You all see that something very important is happening at Olympiakos. I want to speak personally because I feel really defiled, insulted by what happened to me last Sunday at the AEK stadium. Not only do I feel really bad, I feel like something really, really bad is going on in this football journey of mine.
I want to tell you that for 41 whole years I have been the owner of teams, historical teams. I have never been accused of insulting an opponent. There were always some isolated incidents. But being the vice-president of Olympiakos, going to the stadium by myself and an entire stadium cursing my family, my ex-wife, my children, me personally, my dead mother, for two hours and at the end announcement – complaint by AEK against me. And worst of all they distribute videos through this tramp Triantafyllopoulos, which defames my personality.
I have been a lawyer for 50 years. I have given justice moments, which are unrepeatable. But I never accept what happened and especially when I have this sacred position. Of being the representative of Olympiakos anywhere, of being the legal advisor and some trying to discredit me.
I won’t go back anywhere. I have requested the videos of the match. I have already communicated them to Ms. Stamoleka, the sports judge. Because really this insult to my personality is not going to go away.
Otherwise, I want to tell you that during the week, due to the problems with the burdensome schedule of my profession, we will do something very important to save Greek football. But the important thing is to finally save football. Many important people have been proposed as witnesses. I believe that the PAOK organization will also support this effort we are making. The organization of Panathinaikos has already arrived.
There are important people from all over football who testify, who are selfless people who love football. This is what I wanted to say and I want to tell you that football is the leading social movement worldwide. It is not possible in Greece to be the leading anti-social movement. You see the world is longing. Today there are children here, families. We need to fill the stadiums and really make it again what the world is longing for. Us older folks grew up with it.
I want to thank the channels, especially the subscription channels, which have helped a lot in the progress of Greek football. I honestly tell you that the entire Olympiacos organization is mobilized on this. We might win the European Cup, we might win the Championship. The most important thing of all is that Olympiacos will identify what is from now on Greek football with its own presence and with its own attempt at consolidation.
It is not possible for people who have not even finished elementary school, people who have committed illegal acts throughout their lives, people who only have criminals in their environment, whom they execute outside their offices, to command Greek football. This will end!
Olympiacos aims for the Championship, aims to play in the final of the European Cup. But, apart from that, he also wants to clean up Greek football. I want you all to understand that this is the goal. Being a representative of Olympiakos is something that God owed me, my path.
I tell you directly: it is a decision of Vangelis Marinakis with everything that means Alexis Kougias, with everything that means the organization of Olympiakos. It is one thing to represent Larissa, Panachaki and another to be the person who speaks for Olympiakos.
