Kovid; PSG’s Qatar tour postponed

French club PSG postpone tour of Qatar in the wake of Kovid expansion. The new date will be announced later, club officials said in a news release. The team, led by Messi and Neymar, was due to arrive in Qatar next week.

As Qatar prepares to host the World Cup, fans are eagerly awaiting the arrival of Messi and his team. The plan was to return to Paris via Saudi Arabia following a three-day training camp following arriving in Qatar on Sunday, January 16th. He also decided to play in the Riyadh Cup friendly on the 19th in Saudi Arabia. But meanwhile, Kovid’s third wave shook the world once more. Club officials said the Qatar tour was being postponed due to health concerns of players and team staff.

Kovid also reported to PSG team members in early January. Angel Di Maria and Julian Draxler missed last week’s matches due to Kovid’s positives. Two weeks ago, superstar Lionel Messi and Kovid became positive. The player was negative a few days ago.
