Kozhikode: Arya RS, a native of Kozhikode, topped Kerala when NEET UG, the country’s only entrance exam for undergraduate medical/allied courses, was announced. Arya made Kerala proud by securing 711 marks out of 720 in the exam written by more than 20 lakh students.
Arya has secured 23rd rank at All India level. Arya also bagged the third position in the girls category. A native of Kozhikode, Thamarassery, Arya is the daughter of police officer Thoovakunnummal Ramesh Babu and Shaima.
After completing her Plus Two studies at Alphonsa English Medium School, Thamarassery, she was training at Pala Brilliant Coaching Center for the past one year. Archana RS, a postgraduate student, is her sister.
