(CNN) — Kris Jenner opened up about infidelity in her marriage to her late ex-husband, Robert Kardashian.
Jenner has previously spoken out about cheating on her first husband. In the latest episode of “The Kardashians,” she reveals why she made that decision.
In a conversation with her daughter Khloé Kardashian, Jenner said she was “very young and stupid” at the time and didn’t fully understand the consequences of being unfaithful.
“But what was it that my father didn’t do that made you want to look elsewhere?” Khloé asked.
“He was a great husband and a great father, and I think I fell into a situation where I thought the grass was greener somewhere else,” Jenner responded.
He added that their affair was his “biggest regret” in life, but that “everything happens for a reason.”
Jenner and Robert Kardashian divorced in 1991. She later married Bruce Jenner, an American Olympic medalist, who in 2015 declared herself a transgender woman and has since called Caitlyn Jenner.
Kris and Caitlyn have two daughters: Kendall and Kylie. They divorced in 2014.
