The exhibition Kubuni, comics from Africa.s, an exhibition of African comics featuring the work of 50 cartoonists from 48 African countries, was the epicenter of the 35th edition of the Bogota International Book Fair (Filbo). This exhibition, presented from April 18 to May 2 in the Corferias exhibition center was visited by more than 10,000 people.

This is a bilingual adaptation (French-Spanish) of the exhibition at the Cité de la BD in Angoulême, produced by Joëlle Epée Mandengue – “Elyon’s” (director of the Bilili Festival in Brazzaville) and Jean-Philippe Martin ( scientific advisor to the Cité de la BD), who is currently working in the French cultural network. Thanks to the joint work of the Alliance Française de Bogota, the French Embassy in Colombia, the French Institute in Colombia, the French Institute in Paris, the Colombian Book Chamber and Corferias, the exhibition was presented for the first time in Colombia.
