A guitar belonging to Nirvana legend Kurt Cobain (1967-1994) was sold at an auction in the USA for a million euros. The iconic blue “Skystang I” Fender Mustang electric guitar that Cobain played during his final tour in 1993-94 fetched more than $1.58 million (1.46 million euros) on Friday. The auction was part of the three-day “Played, Worn and Torn: Rock N’ Roll Iconic Guitars and Memorabilia” auction, which until Saturday evening featured more than a thousand pieces owned by music greats such as Cobain, Eric Clapton, Elvis Presley, Prince, The Beatles or Frank Zappa are offered.
