Kuwait City: The Kuwait Ophthalmology Conference will begin on Thursday. Health Minister Dr. The conference, under the patronage of Ahmed Al Awadi, will review the latest advances in ophthalmology and surgical techniques. Chairman of the Council of Ophthalmology Department of the Ministry of Health said that 46 experts from different parts of the world will participate in the three-day conference. Ahmed Al Foudari said.
It includes professionals from the US, Canada, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, Netherlands, Britain, India and Japan, as well as representatives from Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Oman and Egypt. Heads of the Gulf Association for Ophthalmology and the Egyptian (Ramadia) Society are also expected to attend.
The conference will feature a variety of lectures and workshops on ophthalmology and surgical interventions.
