Kuwait suspends family and tourist visitor visas The order was issued by Interior Minister Sheikh Ahmad Nawaf Assabah.
Effective from Monday until further notice. The ministry said the move was a prelude to the introduction of a new mechanism for visa procedures.
Family visitor visas were issued only with the special permission of the Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Home Affairs. It was given only to those earning more than 500 dinars.
