Kuwait City: Fines and punishments for various traffic violations have been increased sharply in Kuwait. In this regard, the parliamentary committee approved the amendment of the law. Penalties and penalties for using mobile phones while driving have been increased sharply.

According to the new amendment, a fine of 300 dinars and 3 months imprisonment will be imposed against those who violate such laws. Violators of the legal speed limit on roads are subject to 3 months imprisonment and a maximum fine of 500 dinars. Fines have also been increased against those driving old vehicles on the country’s streets.

A fine of 100 to 200 dinars will be imposed if children under the age of 10 are seated in the front seat or in the rear seat while driving. A fine of 250 to 500 dinars is also imposed for offenses such as modifying the body of the vehicle without the permission of the traffic police, neglecting to give way to fire engines, ambulances, civil defense, police and official vehicles, etc.
