The Kuwaiti Criminal Court has sentenced the accused in the case of murdering Mubarak Al Rashidi to be hanged. An Egyptian expatriate and a Kuwaiti national were sentenced to death in the case.
The expatriate who crossed into Egypt was arrested with the help of Interpol. Following Rashidi’s disappearance, the country’s largest manhunt was conducted last March with the help of security forces and volunteers.
In the subsequent investigation, his body was found inside the container in Salmi.
