Al-Marsad Newspaper: The Public Prosecution in Kuwait ordered the detention of the officer accused of killing the Kuwaiti sports bike race champion, Abdulaziz Al-Zaatari, in the Mubarak Al-Kabeer area for a period of 21 days, and referring him to the central prison.
According to “Al-Qabas”, the accused said during the investigations before the Public Prosecution that he suffers from schizophrenia and disorders and is not responsible for his actions, and submitted medical reports stating that he is receiving treatment in a psychiatric hospital. Investigations are still ongoing in the case.
And the Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior said in an official statement: “The criminal security sector, following intensifying research and investigation, is able to seize the suspect and the weapon used in the case of the killing of a citizen in Mubarak Al-Kabeer Governorate, and it was referred to the competent authorities.”
