KV Thomas expelled from Congress; Action With the permission of the AICC

KPCC president K Sudhakaran said that KV Thomas was expelled from the party. The action was taken with the permission of the AICC. Thomas was expelled for anti-party protests. KV Thomas was present at the LDF convention in Thrikkakara today. This is followed by action. Earlier, the KPCC had demanded that he be expelled from the party. However, the AICC was not ready to take action then.

KV Thomas had come out in support of the K-Rail project at the LDF convention held today. The K-Rail project is essential for the progress of Kerala and the development of state transport. KV Thomas also said that high speed development projects like the Silver Line are needed to solve the traffic problems.

Opposition is natural when introducing new projects. Various projects, including the Kochi Metro, have come to fruition after overcoming many crises. KV Thomas said that only strong people’s leaders can lead the state directly in the face of crisis and Pinarayi Vijayan has that strength. He added that the people will stand with development in the Thrikkakara elections.

KV Thomas arrived at the venue during the Chief Minister’s inaugural address at the LDF convention in Palarivattom. KV Thomas told the CM that he was late to the venue as he was blocked for an hour. The Chief Minister added in his speech that this was the need for K Rail to come. CPI state general secretary Kanam Rajendran, candidate Joe Joseph and other leaders of the LDF and CPI (M) were present at the convention.
