Kyndryl would seek to divest its activities in China

Will the IBM spin-off in turn carry out a split? According to information from the “Financial Times”, Kyndryl is reportedly considering spinning off its China operations and has informed some of its employees of this decision.

The American service provider, however, did not specify when this split would take effect or who would control the new Chinese entity, indicates the British newspaper, citing three people familiar with the matter. This decision would affect around 6,000 employees in Hong Kong and mainland China, out of the group’s approximately 90,000 employees.
