A farm with a large red roof, between the dense wild forest of Cerniat which dresses the Mont de l’Arpille and the lines of fruit trees sewn along the Rhône, between Martigny and Vernayaz, a place where the terroir is cultivated, the friendliness and audacity. A place, the Grange Rouge, which today has a summer musical season entrusted to the pretty sagacity of the Barivox association.
The first evening Friday
The first evening will be held this Friday with the Creole blues duo The Two. Just back from the Montreal International Jazz Festival, the Lausanne group well known in our Valais latitudes will come to distill their music and show the extent of their experience acquired over more than 1,000 concerts across the globe. It is no coincidence that The Two made it to the semi-finals of the International Blues Challenge in Memphis in 2015.
A month later, on August 19, a brass band like we don’t know here will perform at the Grange Rouge. Eyo’nlé is made up of five Beninese brothers who take up the classics of French song in their own way.
