La Jornada Maya – Alternative medicine versus allopathic medicine

Allopathic and alternative medicine are a two-sided coin, to deny it would be to suffer from moral hemiplegia and mainly from scientific hemiplegia.

Allopathic medicine has prevailed over time for the care of diseases, which means big business for many, however, it faces serious dilemmas and questions that are difficult to answer; Since health has never been invested in, an increasingly healthy society would be expected as a result, but this is not the case, every year the government health systems are forced to expand the budget in this area, that is, that it is in the midst of a great paradox, because true health is not measured in relation to how many hospital beds there are, or how many new clinics are opened, or how many medicines are sold; On the contrary, all that money invested should be reflected in an increasingly healthy society in all its aspects.

While the laboratories or governments that forced the population to be vaccinated are refused to accept the serious health crisis that has left behind the secondary effects of said substance, there is no longer any strange new illness to blame, and in That denial is impossible to attend to this crisis, it is increasingly difficult for doctors to diagnose and, above all, to attend to new patients and new diseases.

This situation, on the other hand, is not beyond the reach of alternative, complementary and traditional medicine, which has taken it very seriously, added to the fact that they are used to having to work against the current to find the treatments that best serve the people.

“Let your food be your medicine”, was the maxim of the father of medicine, Hippocrates. It is a matter of logic, not leaving the solution in the pills, let’s just do a brief survey of the people around us and you will see that there are a large number of young people who at 40 years of age already take at least three pills a day and have chronic ailments- degenerative, such as gastritis, hypertension, high cholesterol, insomnia, diabetes, cancer, etc., and basically all these diseases could improve by calming stress, changing lifestyles or programming a detoxification and nutrition such as juice therapy, which with simple juices natural people could solve many of these pathologies.

It is necessary to relate to the disease in another way, as described by the authors Dethlefsen and Dahlke in their work Disease as a path, where they state that “the disease has only one purpose: to help us correct our ‘deficits’ and make us healthy” .

Although a large part of the population turns to allopathic medicine, it is curious to observe that the richest of the rich do not attend the best hospitals with all-paid insurance, but seek the “top of alternative medicine”, while the The poorest turn to traditional alternative medicine such as curanderas, midwives or herbalists.

A healthy society is one that bets on an authentic culture of prevention, has a healthy diet, restores its nature as a condition for physical, emotional and mental well-being, builds a community with harmonious relationships that allow a life to the full. Doctors must be there for emergencies, but allopathic medicine and its technology too.

Alternative and complementary medicine contemplates the human being integrally and from his totality, attending not only to the physical body or biochemistry, but also from his essence, that is, his feelings, thoughts and his etheric body.
