Recently, the elders of Alzon and the surrounding area, grouped within the La Roche des fées club, met for their traditional Christmas meal. Around forty guests were welcomed to the Route 999 restaurant by Mathieu and Élodie.
After his welcome speech, president Alain Boutonnet delighted his audience by announcing that the club was offering an aperitif. Then, the menu that was served was appreciated by all the participants. Conversations regarding current events or old times in the village continued for a good part of the followingnoon.
When parting, the members of the club agreed to meet on the followingnoon of January 12 for the king cake.
Board games and snacks continue every first Thursday of the month. Outing and travel plans are currently being discussed.
