A Netflix this week released the first trailer for the sequel film Rebel Moon. With the name “Rebel Moon – Part 2: The Cicratizer Highlighter” (“Rebel Moon – Part Two: The Scargiver”), the film is scheduled for release in 2024. However, you can now check out the details about the production with the 2-minute preview released by the streaming platform.
The first film was recently released by the company, on December 22nd and is directed by Zack Snyder. For those who don’t know, he is the same director of famous films, such as “300”, “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” e “The Man of Steel”. As expected, he is in the same position for the sequel.

The plot is an epic science fiction set in a peaceful colony located at the edge of the universe. However, when the tyrant Regent Balisarius (Fra Fee) becomes a threat, young Kora (Sofia Boutella) may be the only hope of survival for the population: she must gather a group of warriors brave enough to face the rule of Balisarius. Despite encountering very different people, all soldiers have something in common: the desire for revenge.
In general, a few scenes even resemble elements from the Star Wars franchise. Likewise, one can also notice the use of a lot of slow motion in several moments.
