LAH: an expensive middle finger

The American Hockey League (AHL) punished forward Dominik Shine for throwing the middle finger at Chicago Wolves fans on Sunday.

The Grand Rapids Griffins member will have to serve a two-game suspension. He will thus miss the duels of his family once morest the Admirals of Milwaukee and the Stars of Texas.

During the Griffins’ 5-3 win at Allstate Arena in Chicago, Shine was sitting on his team’s bench when he appeared on the giant screen. After a split second of hesitation, he raised his middle finger to insult Wolves supporters.

They and the Griffins are big rivals in the AHL. However, they respectively occupy the last and the penultimate rank of the Central section.

Shine has been playing with the Detroit Red Wings school club since 2016-2017. In career, he scored 44 goals and 93 points in 327 duels, spending 381 minutes in jail.
