LAPD Offers $50,000 for Information in Deadly Wilmington Hit-and-Go – NBC Los Angeles

The Los Angeles Police Department is offering a reward of up to $50,000 for anyone who can provide information about a hit-and-run crash that left a 52-year-old man dead.

On Sunday morning, a compact car, described as a Scion xB, collided with a pedestrian who was walking in a marked crosswalk, at a red light, at the intersection of Pacific Coast Highway and Wilmington Avenue.

Shortly after the collision, the driver stopped the vehicle and attempted to render assistance before a second vehicle, described as a dark colored sedan, also struck the victim.

The driver of the second vehicle left the scene. Los Angeles Fire Department personnel responded and pronounced the victim dead.
