The Vienna police are looking for the perpetrator following a knife attack.

In Vienna-Landstrasse, an 18-year-old was stabbed on the street on Friday followingnoon. The victim was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
After the stabbing attack on 18-year-olds in Vienna-Landstrasse early Friday evening, the Vienna police were in large-scale operations with dozens of forces.

As police spokesman Markus Dittrich confirmed to APA, two men are said to have stabbed the 18-year-old around 3 p.m. and injured his upper body. A rescue helicopter then took the teenager to the hospital. According to the police, he is an Afghan national. Together with other emergency services, WEGA is looking for the two suspects. The background to the bloody deed is still unclear. The State Criminal Police Office is investigating.
