Swiss cancels 42 flights to several German cities
This Monday is a day of general strike in transport in Germany. Several airlines have canceled flights from Zurich and Geneva.
Due to strikes in Germany, Swiss on Monday canceled 42 flights from Zurich and Geneva to that country. Other airlines have also canceled flights.
All flights to Dusseldorf, Frankfurt, Hanover, Munich, Nuremberg and Stuttgart have been canceled, Zurich Airport told Keystone-ATS. They have disappeared from the notice boards and travelers have been informed.
Berlin served
There was no influx of waiting passengers. The various airlines had already canceled the corresponding flights last Friday.
Already on Sunday, four flights between Zurich and Munich were canceled, Swiss told Keystone-ATS. Berlin and Dresden airports continue to be served by Swiss, while only inbound flights are planned in Hamburg.
