Las Vegas GP 2023: Schedule, Circuit, and Formula 1 Ban on Sphere Projection

2023-11-16 14:35:46

The 2023 Las Vegas GP will begin activities this Thursday with free practice and one of the main attractions that the Nevada circuit will have is the famous “Sphere” that is capable of reproducing any image; However, Formula 1 asked the race organizers for a particular request.

With the return of Formula 1 to Las Vegas since 1982, the organizers want everything to go perfectly so that the race is a true spectacle: especially for the drivers. Given the infinite number of distractors that can be presented on the track, it was decided to prohibit the projection of the colors red, yellow and blue on the sphere.

The Formula 1 organization has rented the show venue and expressly requested that these colors not be projected with the main objective that the drivers would not be distracted while racing in the Las Vegas GP: this ended up affecting the band U2 , who had to stop his concerts in the sphere until December 1.
