Already the vast majority of businesses that are required to interface their cash registers with POS, have either completed the interface of their systems or scheduled the appointment with the installer within April.
The procedure to be followed by those who have NOT made an appointment to date is as follows:
By this evening, the business that is required to be connected must contact the business that has procured the cash register in order to:
1. set an appointment within April, to upgrade it and connect it with the POS(es),
the
2. state that the cash register is interconnected with a commercial/accounting management program (ERP). In this case, the interconnection obligation is transferred to 31.5.2024 or to 30.6.2024 (with a declaration of appointment to be made by 31.5.2024).
If there is no availability from the above company to set an appointment within April, then the business managers can contact another technical support company.
It is recalled that in the event that the company does not take any of the above actions, it faces the imposition of a fine of 10,000 or 20,000 euros, depending on the accounting system (simple or double-entry) that they are required to have.
