Authors of a sluggish performance, the Red Devils won 1-0 at Fulham in added time.
Manchester United found the fault in added time against Fulham (1-0), Saturday in London, thanks to a saving goal from its captain Bruno Fernandes which partly erases another poor performance in the game.
The Portuguese leader allows the Red Devils, in a delicate situation, to temporarily move up to sixth place with 18 points, one more than Newcastle and Brighton, while awaiting the other matches of the 11th day of the English championship.
Fernandes controlled a ball that Fulham was unable to clear, put two defenders in the wind with a hook before his shot, slightly deflected, ended up in the back of the net (90th+1), in front of the visiting supporters’ yard , unleashed at Craven Cottage.
