As of July 5, 2023, there were 29 active cases of Covid-19 in the country, among a patient admitted to New ENT Hospital in Vacoas. In addition, from June 29 to July 5, no deaths were attributed to Covid-19. This is what emerges from the meeting of the Council of Ministers this Friday.

It should be noted that the Cabinet also took note of the establishment of a Multisectoral Dengue Fever Committee, chaired by the Minister of Health and Welfare, to monitor the situation in Mauritius and Rodrigues.
