The eyes of Colombian soccer fans are focused on the city of Cali. During the last hours, América confirmed the departure of Lucas González immediately and now it seems that another club will do the same before the start of the League.
Well, everything happens on the other side of the América path, Deportivo Cali where Jaime de la Pava is currently, a coach who apparently is not completely convincing and that is why some managers are thinking of firing him.
This was announced by journalist Diego Saviola who in his X account commented that the Executive Committee of the green and white team had requested the departure of the coach.
“In the executive committee last night a Cali Director asked for the departure of Jaime De la Pava. Calls to other technicians are even resumed. “He has his days numbered at the head of the sugar bank,” said the communicator in his X account.
Apparently there is not enough confidence in De la Pava and from above they doubt the functioning of the squad for this season, which is crucial since Cali will fight to avoid relegation.
For now, it is expected that in the coming days there will be a final decision on the strategist considering that the team’s debut is on Friday against Pereira as a visitor.
