Latest S&P500 Pre-Christmas Session Update: Core PCE, Durable Goods Orders, and Housing Data

For this last session before Christmas, the S&P500 is close to pre-opening balance pending some important statistics.
Operators are, in fact, expecting the Core PCE index, durable goods orders, building permits and housing starts at 2:30 p.m. then the Michigan confidence index and new home sales at 4 p.m.
The American index ended up 1.03% at 4746 points yesterday, following suddenly losing 1.47% on Wednesday.

Wall Street will remain closed on Monday while Europe will not reopen its doors until next Wednesday.

In hourly data, the S&P500 is consolidating horizontally near its recent high points. In the short term, we will follow the release of the 4697/4777 points to act.
