Tel Aviv: Israel says Hamas fighters killed two of its soldiers who entered Gaza to launch a ground attack. The Israeli army confirmed that two soldiers were killed in the ground operation.
Soldiers Roy Wolf and Lavi Lipshitz were killed. Both were 20 years old. This brings the number of Israeli soldiers killed in clashes with Hamas to 317 since October 7. The total death toll in Israel stands at 1,407.
Meanwhile, Hamas’ armed wing, the Al-Qassam Brigades, said its fighters had destroyed an Israeli military vehicle. The Qassam Brigades said its fighters clashed with Israeli military vehicles that infiltrated the Zeitoun neighborhood of central Gaza.
