Latin American Citizens Killed and Missing in Hamas’ Attack on Israel: Second Peruvian Confirmed Dead

(CNN) — At least 11 Latin American citizens have died in Israel following the surprise attack by Hamas on Saturday.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Peru published this Tuesday in X the confirmation of the death of a second Peruvian citizen.

At least one Chilean was also murdered in Israel, the Chilean Ministry of Foreign Affairs wrote in X on Tuesday.

These two deaths are added to the nine confirmed deaths of Latin American citizens: seven Argentines, one Peruvian and one Brazilian.

At least 25 more Latin American citizens are missing: 15 from Argentina, three from Brazil, three from Mexico, two from Colombia and two from Paraguay.
