Laughing Medicine: A Comedic Exploration of the Caregiver-Patient Relationship

2024-01-15 04:14:00

Theater and medicine are an old couple who have not said their last word to the public. Molière and many other authors have taken up the subject to the greatest pleasure of spectators, but everything has not yet been said. So “What’s up doctor?” You will find out Friday January 19. The ExpressionS association will administer to you a whole range of responses boosted with vitamin C which are a little tangy and which sometimes will make you cringe.

This show directed by Kamila Ourabah features clinical briefs around the theme of the caregiver-patient relationship, an observation, entirely scientific of course, of this very particular bond which unites the practitioner and the patient. We laugh a lot, it’s excellent for your health, and certain sketches will perhaps remind you of real-life situations. Well, not too much either, since any resemblance to the real life of a hospital department or a medical office can obviously only be coincidental! Medical secrecy requires.

14 actors from the troupe and 4 young people from the theater school will perform duo sketches for this lively and burlesque piece, sometimes caring, sometimes bloody, which examines the medical environment by putting their finger where it itches, where it tickles… And since On stage everything is possible without a prescription, expect to have a very good evening.

Meet at Espace François-Mitterrand at 8:30 p.m. on January 19.

Entrance €8. Free for children under 12, a drink offered during intermission.

Reservation on 06 23 40 65 68.
