ALGIERS – The Banking Training Institute (IFB) announced Sunday in a press release the launch of the training cycle of the 11th promotion of the certification of financial market professionals (CPMF), part of the implementation of the 2024 training offer.
The launch of this training from the IFB training center in Dely Ibrahim (Algiers) was marked by the presence of the President of COSOB, the Director General of the Algiers Stock Exchange and the Director General of the IFB , specifies the same source.
The certification program for financial market professionals aims to “train all financial market players” or “those wishing to acquire recognized knowledge in this field, in particular executives of issuing companies, asset managers in level of institutional investors and journalists specializing in finance,” it is underlined.
The 11th promotion of the training totals 56 participants, mainly from banks, insurance companies and specialized journalists, adds the same source noting that at the end of this course, the winners will have “the opportunity to update and strengthen their financial knowledge and skills and increase their efficiency.
”Finance and banking professionals will thus be able to take into account new investment challenges and make a difference in their professional activity,” we emphasize.
The IFB also ensures that this certification cycle, lasting thirty-two (32) days, spread over five alternating months, will be jointly certified by the IFB and the COSOB and led by professionals in the field.
In particular, it will allow ”candidates who have successfully completed it to exercise a highly regulated activity in the sphere of the financial market”.
The Institute of Banking Training, created in 1989 by Algerian banks and financial establishments, aims to pool resources to bring together and federate the energies and skills of the banking and financial sector in order to establish and develop professional training that meets the requirements of the banking profession in the context of changes in the sector and the opening of the capital of certain banks.
