The wilaya of the Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima region, in partnership with several partner institutions, will launch, on Saturday January 8, the “Msarya F’Mdina” initiative (a walk in the medina), in order to promote tourist and economic activities. from the medina of Tangier.
Organized in partnership with the Agency for the Promotion and Development of the North (APDN), the Management Company of the Port of Tanger Medina, the Regional Directorate of Tourism and the Regional Directorate of Culture, as well as the Association of Tourist Guides and all the associations of the tourism value chain, this initiative will be punctuated by weekly visits to cultural, tourist and religious spaces, as well as to traditional craft workshops, in addition to the main public places of the old medina of Tangier. These tourist routes aim to discover the architectural and urban gems of the medina of Tangier, and to highlight the traditional restaurants, the craft shops and the local products that it abounds.
