For her part, Laura Pausini was moved by the Puerto Rican’s tribute at the same gala where she was awarded Person of the Year and offered to record it as a duet with him. “I like his version better than mine,” she went on to say.
Rauw Alejandro didn’t take long to accept and they both went into the studio to make this spontaneous collaboration a reality. The Punto 40 interpreter confirmed last January that the song would be released “soon” but the truth is that it has not yet seen the light.
The reasons for this non-publication lie with Rauw Alejandro’s record company.
“Rauw and I already recorded our song. However, he has contract problems with his record company and until they give him authorization we cannot publish,” said the Italian artist, who responded on social networks to the concerns of a fan who He wondered about the delay in the matter.
