Crédit Mutuel Alliance Fédérale is renewing its teams. As part of a vast governance project, the banking group announced on Tuesday the unexpected recruitment of Laurent Berger, the former secretary general of the CFDT, from September 15.

The trade unionist, close to Nicolas Théry (himself a former CFDT executive and president of Crédit Mutuel Alliance Fédérale), was entrusted with the creation of a “first-rate center of expertise” dedicated to the climate and environmental revolution.
