Long live booze and basketball. On this night of October 4 to 5, 2022, the NBA – and more generally basketball – gave us the desire to fall asleep on an orange ball. We tried not to talk only about Victor Wembanyama and Scoot Henderson, although the desire is not lacking. Debrief.

The Pelicans – Bulls was an opportunity to slam the return of Zion Williamson very hard, 518 days after his last basketball game. The big teddy bear didn’t stop smiling, and so neither did we. We end with Jazz – Blazers, one of the worst confrontations the Western Conference has to offer. Lauri Markkanen and Simone Fontecchio, two brave EuroBasket 2022 fighters, compiled 7 points at 2/11 shooting (Lauri put the 7 points). Despite this small industrial catamaran – and a very clean 21-unit Damian Lillard – the Jazz prevailed.
