Cuba – Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov arrived in Cuba on Wednesday on a working visit as part of his tour of Latin American countries, Tass reported.
The Russian minister is holding talks with his Cuban counterpart, Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla, in Havana.
Minister Lavrov will also meet with the President of the Republic of Cuba, Miguel Diaz-Canel.
It is noteworthy that Cuba has become the final point of Lavrov’s tour in Latin America, which began last Monday.
Before that, the Russian Foreign Minister arrived in the Venezuelan capital, Caracas, on an official visit.
Earlier, the Russian Foreign Ministry reported that Lavrov is on a trip to Latin America from April 17 to 21, during which he will visit Brazil, Venezuela, Nicaragua and Cuba.
