Mastercard awarded L’bankalik, the 100% mobile bank of Attijariwafa bank, its Digital First certificate in recognition of the bank’s efforts in terms of customer experience and innovation in the payments ecosystem in Morocco.
This is the first certificate of this type awarded in North-West Africa, Mastercard said in a press release, stressing that Mastercard’s Digital First program certifies that L’bankalik customers now have a range of digitalized payment services. , accessible through their mobile, from the issuance of virtual cards, to contactless mobile payment by smartphone.
It also certifies that customers can effectively control the use of their card through the application and benefit from increased security for greater peace of mind, adds the same source.
This award is the consecration of a strong partnership between Mastercard and L’bankalik. The two partners recently introduced Apple Pay and contactless payments (NFC) for all customers of attijariwafa bank’s 100% mobile bank.
