The Teacher Training Program is Ta’alouf’s second initiative, in which teachers and school administrators are provided with the knowledge and skills needed to better understand the individual educational needs of each student of determination, and expand their understanding of the best practices of inclusive education. The programme, which is offered over an academic year, is fully sponsored by the Al Jalila Foundation and offered by Zayed University, one of the leading universities in the region. It also receives support from the Ministry of Education (MoE) and the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA).

The program works directly with public and private schools in the UAE to enroll their educational cadres in the program, as it is available to all residents of the UAE, and is offered in both Arabic and English.

The program works to foster familiarity by collaborating with strategic partners, parents, teachers and the community at large, to support children with various disorders. Instead of letting them feel frustrated by their disorders, the program helps them to overcome their disabilities and discover their potential.

The Ta’alouf program is in line with the Foundation’s goal of enhancing medical treatment, education and research capabilities in the UAE.
