After his health condition preoccupied artistic circles in Lebanon and the Arab world, the head of the Actors Syndicate, Nima Badawi, reassured the public about the health of the Lebanese artist Fadi Ibrahim.
In stable condition
Badawi confirmed that the famous star’s condition has become stable, explaining that he suffered from a health problem during the past few days as a result of his diabetes, which led to the amputation of one of his limbs.
He added in a statement to ET in Arabic that the life of the “The Storm Blows Twice” star is no longer in danger, revealing that the artist has been in the hospital for approximately one and a half months, due to dialysis operations.
Despite this, he indicated that he has become stable and improving, denying all the rumors that have been circulating on social media recently.
In addition, Badawi asked Ibrahim’s fans to pray for him, visit him, and ask about him, so that his psychological condition improves.
Ibrahim had previously commented on what he was going through, as it was stated in a statement issued through the Actors Syndicate and published by the writer and theater director Clovis Atallah on his Facebook account: “My friends and loved ones… I extend my deepest thanks and gratitude to you for your love and great concern for my health condition.” The embarrassment, which you expressed on social media, and I acknowledge the efforts made by the Syndicate of Theater, Cinema, Radio and Television Actors, which has been following up on all the details from the beginning and has the answer to any question, specifically in the person of Captain Nimah Badawi. With my sincere thanks, gratitude and love… Fadi Ibrahim.”
Resentment at lies
It is noteworthy that the Artists Syndicate in Lebanon had expressed its dissatisfaction with the spread of false news about the artist Fadi Ibrahim, which spoke of the necessity of providing financial assistance to the actor so that he could receive dialysis treatment.
The union said that the artist does not need any help, stressing that all his colleagues in the union stand by his side.
